If you are looking for free web design tools then look no further than here:

The peoples toolbox lists hundreds of free tools to assist in designing your website.

Some of my favorites include:

The name says it all, this site helps you select complimentary colour schemes for your website. I really like some of the schemes generated by combining the Ananlogic and Pastel options.

This has to be my all time favorite. Ever noticed icons next to your favorites / bookmarks in your browser? If you use Firefox or IE7 you will also see the icons in the URL of sites with a favicon set (which reminds me I have yet to set one for this site :-( ). Well, this site generates the image for you, and provides the code you need to embed them in your website.

The peoples toolbox also lists sources of free images (though I have never found these sites particularly good) as well as css code, sources of icons (some of which are very good), tutorials and widgets.

There is far to much contained within the peoples toolbox to mention, you will have to pay the site a visit and find some gems for yourself!

The peoples toolbox also allows you to add tools to your “Tool Box” to save you having to re-search for the links, a nice feature.

I like the color scheme generator as well but one of my personnal favorites is the Ajax stripe generator over at http://www.stripegenerator.com/. With the new Web 2.0 look people are asking for this is a big time saver.

The Color Scheme Generator may be pretty useful.

Hey, I’ve just noticed new adsense unit (2×2) added to your post. It doesn’t look that good…
